The Hifistay Ballerino 80 Double Swing is an anti-vibration footer designed for supporting loudspeakers and audio components fitted with spikes. It belongs to the Ballerino series from the Korean brand Hifistay, which specialises in controlling mechanical vibrations throughout the audio chain. The double swing suspension (Double Swing) design is engineered to be compatible with virtually every commonly available type of spike, and offers a simpler solution than the Ballerino Triple Swing version while retaining effective vibration elimination.

The footer measures 80 mm in diameter and offers an adjustable height from 27 to 38 mm, allowing precise fine-tuning according to spike length and plinth type. Each piece supports up to 80 kg, so a set of four under a single loudspeaker will handle weights in the hundreds of kilograms. This makes it suitable even beneath exceptionally heavy constructions, such as the slate loudspeakers from Fischer & Fischer.

The swing suspension isolates the spike from the floor and limits the transfer of resonances in both directions — from the component into the floor and vice versa. The result is less smearing in the bass, a more legible midrange and more stable imaging of instruments within the stereo stage. The adjustable height also helps level the equipment precisely on uneven surfaces, reducing unwanted stress on the structure.
