The Burmester B38 Loudspeakers harmoniously unite acoustic precision, effortless dynamic drive, and a clean, furniture-grade aesthetic. Utilizing a slim 3-way floor-standing architecture, the B38 pairs a custom-developed Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter—delivering airy high-frequency extension and holographic soundstaging—with a finely tuned midrange driver for vibrant, expressive vocal realism. Its powerful side-firing 32 cm woofer delivers rich, subterranean low frequencies without widening the speaker's sleek silhouette. Built into a heavily damped, ultra-rigid enclosure featuring a screwless aluminum front panel and an advanced spring-mass floor decoupling system instead of traditional spikes, the B38 includes a rear-panel bass reduction toggle switch and foam inserts to ensure seamless acoustic integration in any living space. Handcrafted in Berlin, the B38 represents timeless elegance and non-fatiguing, reference-grade musicality.

The German company Burmester Audiosysteme GmbH, founded in Berlin in 1977 by Dieter Burmester, sets the global benchmark for high-end audio technology. To this day, it remains an independent family-run business that combines uncompromising engineering, handcrafted production at its Berlin workshop and an unmistakable design featuring chrome front panels. It has a long history of firsts – from the world’s first modular preamplifier to the first belt-driven CD player. In 2005, it became the first high-end manufacturer to enter the automotive world, and today its sound can be heard in Porsche, Mercedes-Benz and Ferrari cars.
Its product range includes pre-amplifiers and power amplifiers, phono pre-amplifiers, CD and network players, turntables, mains conditioners and loudspeaker systems. More than 95 per cent of the components come from German manufacturers, and every unit undergoes a seven-day burn-in period before dispatch, involving more than 300 computerised measurements and a final listening test. Burmester products are designed to last for decades – they are reliable, repairable and ready for future upgrades.
