Description

Air Tight ATE-3011: Reference Tube Phono Stage

The ATE-3011 is Air Tight's premier phono stage, born from a deep passion for the profound world of record reproduction. Developed over three years of exhaustive research and tuning, it achieves a non-colored sound with heart-stopping reality and noble character. Its standout feature is the ability to independently select Turnover and Roll-Off settings, allowing for perfect optimization across diverse vinyl collections and recording eras.

Key Technological Features

  • Equalization Versatility: Equipped with 5 primary equalization curves (RIAA, NAB, AES, FFRR, and FLAT). The ability to independently toggle Turnover and Roll-Off allows for precise curve matching for historical and modern pressings.
  • User Interface: Features a large, self-illuminating display and an intuitive selector switch. This eliminates the intricate setup usually required for multi-curve equalizers, letting the user focus purely on the music.
  • Sonic Excellence: Engineered through innumerable improvements to deliver a transparent, lifelike performance that captures the intrinsic charm of precious vinyl collections.
  • Heritage: A sophisticated tool designed for the serious audiophile to "rediscover" the nuances and depth of analog recordings.

Air Tight

The Japanese company Air Tight has earned a legendary reputation in the world of high-end audio equipment. It was founded in 1986 in Takatsuki, near Osaka, by Atsushi Miura, who had previously headed the renowned Lux Audio brand. Together with engineer Masami Ishiguro, he built a company that has become synonymous with valve amplifiers of the highest quality. Today, the company is led by his son, Yutaka ‘Jack’ Miura, who continues to uphold the original standards of craftsmanship.

Whilst the audio industry has gradually shifted towards semiconductor and digital technology, Air Tight has remained faithful to valves and their warm, natural and immersive sound. The units are hand-wired using the point-to-point method, without printed circuit boards, resulting in a cleaner signal path and a long service life. The range includes valve integrated and power amplifiers, preamplifiers, phono preamplifiers, headphone amplifiers, MC cartridges and step-up transformers. Thanks to this dedication to traditional craftsmanship, Air Tight has become an icon amongst audiophiles seeking the rich sound experience that only vacuum tubes can provide.
