The Loewe antares 55 is a 4K Ultra HD OLED television that combines an OLED panel individually calibrated at the factory in Kronach, Germany with full support for HDR formats. The self-emissive structure of the OLED module delivers absolute black, high contrast and natural colour rendering without any influence from a backlight. Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ Adaptive optimise brightness and the tone curve according to the content and the ambient light, which helps keep detail legible in both dark and overexposed scenes.
The receiving section is built on a dual-channel platform with two triple tuners, allowing recording to USB, watching one programme while recording another, and timeshift. Image processing and system functions are handled by the Vidaa U9 platform with AI picture processing. Gaming is covered by HDMI 2.1 with VRR up to 144 Hz at 4K resolution, a dedicated game mode for consoles and cloud gaming, and controller integration.
The Loewe os9 user interface provides access to streaming services including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+, Apple TV+ and Spotify. Connection with mobile devices is handled by Apple AirPlay, Miracast and Matter, while control is via the Loewe remote vi with Bluetooth and voice input. The construction is based on a 360° design using real materials, interchangeable aluminium onlays and integrated cable management with covers, so the TV looks complete even when placed free-standing in a room.
The audio section consists of the integrated Loewe invisible sound system with modern audio decoders, DSP and Class D amplifiers. Supported configurations range from stereo mode to multichannel sound with Dolby Atmos and Virtual 3D, while automatic room acoustics calibration is performed via the microphone in the Loewe remote vi and adapts the response to the given space. The system can be expanded with the Loewe antares soundbar, external solutions via HDMI eARC, Bluetooth or the analogue headphone output. Installation options include a universal swivel table stand with three height positions, floor stands, a floor2ceiling solution and wall mounts.
