The Loewe antares 42 is a 4K Ultra HD OLED television supporting all current HDR formats, designed for interiors where both the picture and the build quality are judged just as strictly. Every OLED module is manufactured and individually calibrated at the Loewe factory in Kronach, which translates into absolute black, natural colour rendering and high contrast. Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ Adaptive optimise brightness and the tonal curve scene by scene according to the lighting conditions in the room.

The reception section is built on a dual channel platform with two triple tuners, allowing USB recording, parallel viewing and timeshift. The system layer is handled by Vidaa U9 together with AI picture processing, running under Loewe os9 with access to services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Apple TV+, YouTube and Spotify. Connectivity with other devices is provided by Apple AirPlay, Miracast and Matter, while control is handled by the Loewe remote vi with Bluetooth and voice input.

For gaming there is HDMI 2.1 with VRR up to 144 Hz at 4K Ultra HD, a dedicated game mode for consoles and cloud gaming, plus controller integration. The audio section consists of the Loewe invisible sound system with audio decoders, DSP and Class D amplifiers, handling stereo as well as multichannel formats including Dolby Atmos and Virtual 3D. Automatic room acoustics calibration runs via the microphone in the remote and corrects the influence of reflections on dialogue intelligibility and tonal balance. External solutions can be connected via HDMI eARC, Bluetooth or the analogue headphone output.

The construction is based on a 360° design in the style of a widescreen monitor, using genuine materials, interchangeable aluminium onlays and a rear cover. An integrated cable management system with covers keeps the look clean from every angle. Installation options include a universal swivelling table stand with three height positions, floor stands, a floor2ceiling solution and wall mounts; the audio section can be expanded with the optional Loewe antares soundbar.
