Power Cable Wadax Akasa DC Standard Cable

DC interconnect cable for the WADAX Studio PSU power supply

The Studio AKASA DC Cable is a dedicated DC power cable designed to connect the WADAX Studio PSU to the Studio Player and Studio Clock components. The Studio PSU converts incoming AC voltage into regulated direct current optimised for these units, and that voltage is carried exclusively through a dedicated DC cable, which forms an integral part of the entire power chain.

In terms of construction, the cable is based on the solution used in the Reference DC Cable, but instead of silver it employs a Single Crystal Uni-Lattice Copper conductor. Development took place during work on the Reference series, in the course of which WADAX engineers researched cable geometry, material composition and insulation specifically for the transmission of direct current. The result is two cable variants optimised for the Studio series, with the AKASA DC Studio supplied in a 1 metre length.

Functionally, this is not an accessory but a part of the power system: the quality of DC voltage transfer between the power supply and the player or clock directly affects the supply stability of sensitive circuits. Together with the Studio PSU, the cable thus forms one complete power unit.
