The Soulution 312 stereo amplifier is a power amplifier designed for demanding systems in which power supply stability and bandwidth are decisive. Compared with its predecessor it offers greater power reserves, which translates directly into reproduction dynamics. The amplification section is built around three-stage current amplification taken from the Series 5 amplifiers, where each stage works within a narrow, almost perfectly linear operating range. The result is THD below 0.0004 % and a frequency response reaching from 0 to 800 kHz (– 3 dB).
Power is supplied by four new-generation switched-mode power supply modules delivering 1,200 VA continuously to the power section and a peak capacity of up to 4,200 VA for more than five seconds. Both the input and the output of the power supply are thoroughly filtered and complemented by fast Soulution voltage regulators, which maintain a considerably more stable supply voltage than conventional solutions based on a classic mains transformer.
Stable power delivery and a large current reserve — a maximum output current of 30 A — make it possible to keep even loudspeakers with demanding impedance under firm control. Output rises from 100 W into 8 Ω through 200 W into 4 Ω up to 400 W into 2 Ω (short term, up to 5 seconds). A damping factor above 5000 contributes to precise control of bass drivers, while a noise spectrum below −140 dBV/√Hz and phase shift under −3° at 20 kHz support detail resolution and stable imaging of instruments across the stereo stage.
Signal connection is handled by a single balanced XLR input with an input impedance of 2 kΩ and a gain of +26 dB, with the output routed to two pairs of speaker terminals. A pair of LINK connectors (3.5 mm jack) for remote power-up allows integration into a larger system. Operation is via a button on the front panel, while configuration functions let you tailor the amplifier to a specific system. Standby consumption does not exceed 0.5 W, idle consumption is 110 W.

Swiss manufacturer Soulution Audio represents the pinnacle of ultra-high-end audio engineering. The brand was founded in Dulliken, Switzerland, by Cyrill Hammer and Roland Manz, managing directors of Spemot—a renowned Swiss precision engineering firm specialized in electric motors and custom electronics. Driven by a passion for music and a desire to transcend the limitations of existing reference equipment, they set out to create audio electronics characterized by extreme speed, surgical accuracy, infinite dynamic scaling, and zero tonal coloration.
Leveraging Swiss manufacturing expertise alongside an elite team of engineers, Soulution officially launched its reference line of amplifiers, preamplifiers, and digital sources around 2005–2006. Soulution components incorporate ultra-fast circuit topologies, massive power supplies, and uncompromising current control, allowing loudspeakers to reveal the subtle micro-details of a recording with effortless naturalness. Hand-built in Switzerland to exacting standards, Soulution products are designed for audiophiles who demand absolute sonic truth, uncompromised signal purity, and sovereign speaker control.
